Android OS Pairing

Bluetooth Pairing (Recommended) Wi-Fi Pairing
  1. Before you begin ensure the following is enabled.
    1. Mobile Device is connected to your Home/Office 2.4 Ghz Wi-Fi network
    2. Bluetooth is turned on
  2. Product Pairing Selection (On APP)
    • Tap on the "+" button on the top right corner of your screen.
    • Tap on “PRISM+ Zero".
    • Select Bluetooth Pairing option.
  3. Setting Aircon to Wi-Fi pairing mode (On Remote)
    • Point the remote controller directly at your aircon device.
    • Press and hold the "Mode" + "Wi-Fi" buttons at the same time on the remote controller until you hear a beep from your Aircon to reset your Wi-Fi hotspot.
  4. Pairing to Aircon (On APP)
    • After hearing a beep, tap on the “Continue” button and select "Confirm"
      (A 2 min countdown timer should appear)
    • Wait for the countdown timer to finish and tap on the"Next" button thereafter. 
    • Tap on the “Next” button after the countdown is over.
    • Select your unique aircon Wi-Fi network.
      The aircon Wi-Fi network should be a string of alpha-numeric characters starting with "c“ or “GR_AC”
      (For example: "c1b34567“ or “GR_AC_100001_09_D131”)
    • Select your Home/Office Wi-Fi network.
    • Enter your Home/Office Wi-Fi Password and tap on the "Continue" button.
    • Wait for your device to be connected to the internet.
    • Once pairing is successful, you will be prompted to enter a name for your aircon.
      (It is recommended that you give your air conditioning equipment a simple and easy-to-pronounce name should you decide to use on "Google Home" later on.)
  5. Additional

    Adding Location to your Device
    • If this is your first time pairing your aircon, you will be prompted to create a "Location" where you have set up your Aircon Devices.
    • Otherwise, please proceed to tap on an existing "Location" to start controlling your aircon devices using the PRISM+ Connect App!
    Pairing the next Aircon
    • Open the app drawer and close, Reopen the PRISM Connect app again.
    • Repeat from Step 1

 

Still having trouble pairing?

Check the following:
  • Ensure the Wi-Fi you are connected to is single band (2.4 Ghz) not dual band (2.4 Ghz/5 Ghz)
  • Your Bluetooth is turned on at all times during the Pairing Process
  • Attempt Step 3 again
  • Restart your PRISM+ Connect app
