The Air Conditioner should be serviced once every 3 to 4 months. As servicing is not covered under warranty (unless you have purchased the servicing package), kindly contact PRISM+ support and book a date with our technicians!
What does regular Air Conditioner servicing consist of?
- Cleaning the air filter
- Cleaning the fin of the fan coil by brushing and vacuuming
- Cleaning the fan blower and coil
- Vacuum the drainage pipe
- Thoroughly checking and ensuring that every thing is in good working condition
When was the last time your aircon has been serviced?
If it has been about 1 year since your aircon has been last serviced, we would recommend that you go for a chemical overhaul instead. Because there can be quite a strong build up of dust, mold and bacteria growth that cause your aircon to work too hard to produce cold air, hence burning more electricity. On the other hand, imagine dust, mold and bacteria circulating your air daily, which can be quite harmful to lung health.
