📄 TV Remote Guide

Select your Television Type

Android TV

Power: Turn the TV on or to standby/off mode.
Mute: Mute or restore the TV Sound
Number buttons (0~9): Select the channel directly, or input a number.
SOURCE: Select the input source
INFO: Access the INFO interface.
MENU: Access the menu of quick settings.
HOME: Access the home page.
Navigating Buttons: Navigate the menu to select the content you need.
OK: Confirm, enter or execute the selected item, or show the list of Quick Button.
EXIT: Exit the current operation.
BACK: Return to upper-level content, or exit the current screen.
Application Buttons: Access specific applications directly.
***Teletext Buttons***
- TEXT: Access or exit the teletext menu
- Reveal: Display
Program Up/Down (P^/⌄): Switch Channels.
Volume Up/Down (VOL +/-): Adjust the sound volume.
GUIDE: Access the EPG interface in DTV mode.
MIC (): Start talking to Google Assistant of the TV.
***USB Play Control Buttons***
Play (▶): Start the playback.
Pause (⏸): Pause the playback.
Fast Backward (⏪): Fast backward the playback.
Fast Forward (⏩): Fast forward the playback.
SUBTITLE: Turn on or turn off the subtitle function.
AD: Turn on or turn off the function of audio description.
Color Buttons (R/G/Y/B):Execute the prompt function in specific mode

Unpair the Remote

Press & hold "Home" and "Left arrow" button simultaneously until there is a green flashing light on the indicator
Once the there is green flashing light, slide down the battery compartment cover at the back of the remote control then remove and replace with new batteries.
Ensure the batteries are placed according to the "+" and "-" sign indicator.
After completing Step 1 & Step 2, your remote will be unpaired pressing any buttons will show red indicator showing that the remote is in infrared mode.

Pair the Remote

Turn on the television
Press & hold "Home" and "Left arrow" button simultaneously until there is a green flashing light on the indicator
When the indicator starts flashing green light, press "Google Assistant" button to start the pairing. Once the pairing is done, there will be a notification on the TV indicating "Succeed" and a green indicator light will flash whenever a button is pressed.
Once the pairing is done, there will be a notification on the TV indicating "Succeed" and a green indicator light will flash whenever a button is pressed.

Retrieve the Serial Number

Remove the battery casing from the remote
The serial number will be located at the back of the remote battery casing.

Talk to your Assistant

Requirement
1. Ensure Android TV remote is paired to the TV.
2. On TV must have a gmail account signed in.
3. Ensure in TV settings, google Assistant function is switch on.

On your Android TV’s remote, press the Assistant button or select Microphone option on the Home Screen. Then ask your question. To make sure the Assistant can hear you, speak into the microphone on your remote.

On QE-PRO and AL model, you will be able to activate Assistant using the Farfield Mic by saying the command "Hey/Ok Google". Alternatively you can also use the remote to activate Assistant.

UP / DOWN / LEFT / RIGHT (⏶/⏷/⏴/⏵)
BACK (←): Return to upper-level content, or exit the current screen.
GUIDE(📺): Access the Electronic Program Guide in DTV mode.
HOME(): Access the home page.
Fast Backward (⏪): Fast backward the playback.
EXIT: Exit the current operation.
Volume Up/Down (VOL +/-): Adjust the sound volume.
Fast Forward (⏩): Fast forward the playback.

Compound Button:
- Short press to set or start the function of shortcut key.
- Long Press to open the virtual keyboard including number buttons, color buttons, and so on.

Pair the remote

Turn on the television
Press the Google Assistant button on the remote controller ONCE to activate the pairing.
Once there is a flash green light on top of the remote it means the remote is in "Pairing mode", the remote will then auto pair to the PRISM+ Google TV.

Press & Hold Left Arrow, Home and Google Assistant button simutanously until there is a green flashing light on the indicator.
Once there is green flashing light, remove the battery compartment at the back of the remote control, remove the battery then place the battery back in.
After completing Step 1 & Step 2, your remote will be unpaired pressing any buttons will show red indicator showing that the remote is in infrared mode.

Remove the batteries
The serial number will be located at the corner right of the battery holder.

Set up Compound Button

What is a Compund button?

- Compound Button allows you to set a Shortcut on any Apps/Settings within the TV. (Press Once)
- Compound Button also allows you to open a Virtual keyboard including number buttons, color buttons and more. (Press & hold)

Mapping Compound Button

Turn on your TV
Press on the compound button
You will then be able to choose to map either "Apps" or "System Functions".
Select the item you wish to map on the button and Press "OK"

Unmap the compound button

Turn on the TV
On Home page navigate to "See all" apps option then press "OK"
On Your Apps navigate down to "Daily Key"
Go over to the current Source and select "Remove"

On Your Apps navigate down to "Daily Key"
Select the App/System function you wish to replace with the current Source.

Talk to your Assistant
