Locking & Unlocking Mechanism
Locking
1. Rotate the knob clockwise back into its original position
2. The PRISM+ logo will turn red

Unlocking
1. To unlock the device, enter the password and press OK
2. You will hear a beep, and the PRISM+ logo will turn green
3. Rotate the knob counter-clockwise within 3 secs to open
4. You will hear 3 beeps if you enter an incorrect password

⚠️ If you forget your input password, you may unlock using your admin password. However, take note that doing so will revert your input password to its factory default digits (1234).

Troubleshooting

Forgetting Your Password

  • If you enter the wrong password 4 times, the lock will be deactivated for 60 seconds as a safety precaution.
  • If you forget your input password, you may use the admin password to unlock. Doing so will automatically reset your input password to factory settings (1234).
  • However, if you forget both passwords, search for the serial code on the side of the lock. Contact PRISM+ and provide this code, and a unique unlock code will be provided to you to unlock the device. Doing so will revert both the input and admin password to its factory default (1234 & 4231).

Low Battery

USB C port.png

  • When your device battery is low, you will see the PRISM+ logo flashing in red.
  • If the battery is too low to operate the lock, you will need to power the device through its USB Type-C port in order to open the lock.

When entering the password, a beep is heard, but the lock cannot be opened

  • Your knob is likely not in the correct position. Simply turning it in the right direction should resolve the issue.

No light, no sound

  • Try powering the device through the USB Type-C port. If it does not power up, it is likely defective. Please reach out to us for further assistance.
