Your PRISM+'s AL Series OLED TV comes with a series of technologies to prevent Image Retention.
These features cannot be turned off by the user to reduce the potential for screen retention.
20 to 30 hours of cumulative use
This feature will automatically operate when the cumulative run time of the TV has reached 20 and 30 hours respectively. For example, if you have turned on the TV for 10 hours yesterday and 10 hours today (20 hours in total), Screen Optimization will automatically start to prevent image retention.
The screen will show a notification or a "Tip" to inform you of the upcoming Screen Optimization operation that will take place.
What do you need to do when the "Tip" notification appear?
- Click on the "Ok" button and if the TV goes into standby mode or the screen turn black after clicking "OK", please do not turn the TV back on and let it run for at least 45 minutes. Optimization will run while the TV screen is black. If TV does not go into standby mode or if the display is not turned off, move on to the next step.
- When turning off the TV, press the power button the remote control ; do not switch off or cut off the power source/socket to the TV for at least 30 minutes for the screen optimization to run.
- You may see some vertical lines, the screen turning black, or colored bars on the screen during this process, however, this is not a malfunction.
IMPORTANT
Do not switch off or cut off the power source/socket to the TV while Screen Optimization is running. If optimization is not completed, the "Tip" notification will be shown again on the next startup of the TV.

More than 30 hours of cumulative use
This feature will automatically operate when the cumulative run time of the TV has exceeded 30 hours and no screen optimization has taken place before. The TV indicator light will start flashing.
What do you need to do when the "Tip" notification appear?
- Press "Ok" button on the notification, the dialog box will disappear, and optimization will start. Pressing the power key on remote control will also activate the screen optimization process. If no input has been made for 50 seconds, the notification will disappear and screen optimization process will start. You may see some vertical lines, the screen turning black, or colored bars on the screen during this process, however, this is not a malfunction. TV indicator light will stop flashing once completed.
1500 hours of cumulative use
This feature will automatically operate when the cumulative run time of the TV has reached 1500 hours. You will see a "Tip" notification that informs you of the upcoming Screen Optimization that will take about 90 minutes to complete.
What do you need to do when the "Tip" notification appear?
- Press "Ok" button on the notification, the dialogue box will disappear, and the TV will go into standby mode (display will be turned off). Please do not turn on the TV or switch off the electrical supply to the TV. You may see some vertical lines, the screen turning black, or colored bars on the screen during this process, however, this is not a malfunction. This process may take up to 2 hours.
IMPORTANT
Do not switch off or cut off the power source/socket to the TV while Screen Optimization is running. If optimization is not completed, the "Tip" notification will be shown again on the next startup of the TV.
