To cast content or applications to your Android TV using the inbuilt Chromecast, ensure that the TV and the casting device are connected to the same Wi-Fi channel and frequency (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz). Once done, simply follow the steps below:
You may need to split the WiFi band into 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz if the Google Home app is unable to detect the TV.
Refer to your router manual or contact your Internet Service Provider for more information on WiFi band splitting.
Open the Chromecast-supported app on your casting device. Note: Not all apps support Chromecast. If you are unsure, please refer to the app's developers.
Look for and tap the Cast button.
Select your PRISM+ TV's device name. Note: The picture below is for reference as the device name of your TV could be different.
Once connected, you may now select and cast content from the app.
